Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 5th Croatian Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases / CROCMID 2025 to be held in Poreč, Croatia from 23rd to 26th October 2025. The congress is co-hosted by the Croatian Society for Clinical Microbiology (14th Croatian Congress of on Clinical Microbiology) and the Croatian Society for Infectious Diseases (11th Croatian Congress on Infectious Diseases) of the Croatian Medical Association.
The programme will be built by regional and international experts, focusing on the global burden of infection, particularly in our region. The carefully planned programme will offer new insights and knowledge through plenary lectures, keynote speeches, symposia, meet-the-experts and workshops conducted by world-renowned experts in the field of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. There are also many educational opportunities for students and researchers to share their work through oral and poster sessions, and all delegates are invited to submit abstracts. Special attention will be provided to facilitate the participation of young researchers.
CROCMID 2025 will serve as a unique platform for professionals to make new collaborations and partnerships. Also, an exciting social programme will provide the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Poreč and Istria. Poreč is one of the most beautiful cities in Istria with a diverse blend of cultures that you simply cannot miss. This region is also renowned for its unique local gastronomy and heritage you must visit at least once in your life.
